BEFORE THE STORM

    This painting was done from a photo reference. I had done numerous small finished paintings from 8x10 to 30x40 before this 48x60. The scene is from Gloucester MA. and I found out later it was a part of the movie set for "The Perfect Storm". I was painting on it one day and I read Andrea Gale on the green boat to the right.
